KAMALPUR, Aug 1 (TIWN): Town Kamalpur seriously lacked of any sort of public amusement facility for long. The border adjacent town had no multiplex, science auditorium or modern cyber café here. And the town also lacked for a park where the youths, children and aged persons could spend their time.
The only park which once was used for amusement, now turned into a deserted place where commoners and even anti-social elements dared to enter.
The only park in Kamalpur Nagar Panchayat area was set almost two decades ago. It had some sort of play items like cradle, sliding bar and one or two benches.
All those things collapsed almost a decade ago. And the park got covered with jungles. Now no body entered the park and passed their time there.
Mysteriously, the Nagar Panchayat authority showed no tendency to renovate the park or to set up a new one. Now where the citizens would enjoy their leisure time becomes the question.
