AGARTALA, July 29 (TIWN): In a bizarre incident, bodies of 2 middle aged man were recovered from two different places at Khejur Bagan Saha para area and Battala super market area on Tuesday morning.
One deceased is identified as Amal Chandra Laskar (48) and the other is not yet identified.
The body of Amal Chandra Laskar was recovered by new capital complex (NCC) police from a drain behind his residence at Khejur bagan Saha para area.
Sources said that few localites of the area spotted the body lying in the drain adjacent to the paddy field on Tuesday early morning and informed at the NCC police station.
The incident occurred on Tuesday morning at around 8:30 AM, after the NCC Police station police getting an alarm rWN Pic July 28ushed to the Khejur bagan Sahapara area and recovered the body of Amal.
Police is suspecting that over consumption of alcohol has lead to the death of the Amal. The body is handed over to the family members of the deceased after conducting postmortem at AGMC hospital.
In another incident, Battala outpost police on Tuesday morning recover another body of an unidentified man from battala supermarket area at 12.30 in the afternoon.
It is suspected that the man died with cardiac arrest.
The police had sent the body to AGMC hospital and the doctors will conduct the postmortem after proper permission from the SDM.
However, both the police station personnel’s are further investigating the case.
