KAILASAHAR, July 24 (TIWN): Information and Cultural affair depart of Tripura is all set to kick off the two day long state level women cultural festival at Kailashahar town hall from July 25 next.

 The fest is scheduled to be inaugurated by education minister Tapan Chakraborty and to conclude in the next day.

The fest will include singing and various stage events like street play, dancing and poetry. Women from the entire different district will participate in the fest and will show their talents.  Culture is the manifestation of the people. It is the man made part of the environment. Culture includes food habits, dress pattern, language, songs, dance, knowledge, attitude, behavior, life styles, ritual, religious beliefs and everything that is associated with the activities of life right from birth to the death of a person and to bring forward and revive the culture ICA has taken this initiative to hold a women based cultural fest at Kailsahar.

The event will wrapped up with a discussion on the role of women in the society.
