KAMALPUR, July 23 (TIWN): As the part of Statewide celebration of the birth centenary of deceased and former Chief Minister Mr. Dasharath Deb, CPIM Manikbhander local committee observed the calendar program with due honor. In this occasion planting of saplings were arranged this morning at Kalachari market area.

This year the CPIM party arranged pompous celebration of deceased and former Chief Minister Dasharath Deb’s birth centenary throughout the state.

 In different parts of the state the calendar program got celebrated. As a part of this, CPIM Manikbhander local committee organized the same at kalachari here today.

In this program CPIM State Secretary Bijan Dhar, MLA Anjan Das and other leaders remained present and delivered speech. The orators spoke on the thoughts and work of late Deb and advised the workers to follow. Then the leaders planted 100 saplings of different trees at Kalachari School, market area, panchayat office etc.
