KAMALPUR, July 23 (TIWN): In a sensational and utter inhuman incident a sister-in-law beat her brother-in-law’s wife with chappals in broad day light here at Kamalpur last noon. The incident occurred at Kamalanagar adjacent to Kamalpur sub-divisional headquarter. Although the family members of the tortured wife including her hubby remained mere spectator, the resentment of the locales made the police to nab the hubby.

According to the locales, around 12-30 noons the sister-in-law of Anita Pal of Kamalanagar beat Anita with chappals. Continuous beating made Anita almost senseless and the family members including father-in-law Gouranga Pal, husband Jagan Pal, and mother-in-law remained mere spectators in this inhuman act.

At last the locales came out in protest. They stopped the lady torturing Anita, provided her with first aid and informed the police. They strongly condemned the role of her family members although her hubby and in-laws tried to blame the wife.

At last police nabbed the hubby Jagan Pal. Anita was got admitted in the BSM Hospital with serious injuries on her body. Now what the police would do in this case is the matter to be seen.
