AGARTALA, July22 (TIWN): TRTC motor workers union on Wednesday demonstrated in front of the TRTC main gate at kailasahar and placed 11 charter point of demand to MD of TRTC.

TRTC motor workers union is fighting for the long pending demands of the employees and workers of TRTC like pension as like as state government pensioners, payment of gratuity to the pensioner in time, implementation of leave encashment and release of pending DA etc since its inception.

Along with 11 charters of demands the TRTC Motor workers union placed deputation to MD at TRTC office on Wednesday.

However, the demand included to arrange payment off the arrear of 39% DA immediately, to arrange payment of gratuity of 180 Nos of employees like other PSUs, Implementation of group insurance scheme to TRTC, Re-implementation of medical reimbursement and LTC, appointment of 1 time compensation of Rs 10 lakh in case of die-in-harness, extend TRTC bus services on more routes to facilitate the public of Tripura, Increasement of the fleet strength by purchasing new buses and trucks along with total of 11 charter of demand the TRTC motor workers union placed the deputation.

However, President Samar Roy, Working president Arun Kanti Ghosh, General Secretary Diapk Das along with other dignitaries remained present in the program.
