SANTIRBAZAR, July 17 (TIWN): Gambling continues in many parts of Santirbazar Sub Division. Many families are badly affected and even penniless .Many educated employees, Auto Drivers; Unemployed youths have become the victim of such gambling acts.

Teer Game are common in place like  Baikhora,Kalma,Jolaibari,Kalashi,Debadru,Latuatilla Alashya Bazar,Mhuripur .Local police were unable to caught them as local CPI-M leaders were directly involved with gambler and earn black money.

Gambler found their shelter in many hidden places and earn money from those poor local people of Santirbazar Sub Division. Teer Agents call their customers after 11 AM daily to sale their tickets.

First round result is announced at 4.30 pm daily and second round result announces at 5.30 pm. In this way gamblers extend their network through out Santirbazar Sub Division .

SDPO Santirbazar,OC Baikhora PS raid many places of Sub Division and arrest few gambler on the basis of Source  but had to    release them after political pressure by local CPI-M leaders, sources said.
