AGARTALA, July 16 (TIWN): Two days long 3rd State Level Women and Cultural convention will be organized with the initiatives of the Tripura Government Group- D Employee’s Association. The programme will commence on July 19 and will continue till 20 July.

Tripura Government Group- D Employee’s Association’s president Bishu Chakraborty informed about it in a Press Conference at association’s office on Thursday.

During the conference, the President Bishu Chakraborty informed that on July 17 a rally will be organized on the occasion of the 3rd State Level Women and Cultural convention.

In the rally women from various parts of the state will participate and will walked across various parts of Agartala and finally they will assemble near the Association’s office.

They further informed that on July 19 along with 400 representatives a rally will be organized and will walk across Agartala. The rally will end at Umakanta Academy.

Minister for Social Welfare & Social Education Bijita Nath is expected to be inaugurating the programme.

Keeping eye on the upcoming convention with the initiatives of the GB Hospital region Women and Cultural committee had organized a cleaning campaign at hospital premises on June 3.

They also organized an award function on the occasion of the upcoming convention of the association which was inaugurated by Information and Cultural Minister Bhanulal Saha on June 5, last.

Around 200 women had staged rally on 15 June last and walked across various parts of Agartala.
