UDAIPUR, July 16 (TIWN): Add. Session and Dist. Judge Debashish Kar has given a judgment against 2 persons after finding them guilty for kidnapping a minor girl of 15. The Kidnapping incident, for which they have been punished, took place at Yashia Para, under Taidu P.S., Amarpur Subdivision on January 20, 2008.
On the next day i.e. on January 21, the victim’s father lodged an FIR. Acting on the FIR, police arrested in total 5 persons namely Mahamoni Kaipeng, Sukramani Koloi, Rajkumar Koloi, Shushil Koiloi and Dharmendra Koloi.
But during the investigation period, Rajkumar Koloi died and the two others had been released due to lack of enough proofs of their involvement in this kidnapping chore.
However on July 15, 2015 Mahamoni Kaipeng, Sukramani Koloi had been appeared before the Add. Session and Dist. Judge Debashish Kar, in Gomati District Court. Finding both of them guilty, Kar has given his verdict to both of them as 4 years imprisonment along with Rs. 2000/- fine.
