AGARTALA, July 14 (TIWN): Tripura Photo-journalist Rakesh Debnath, who had photographed for several media houses for prolonged years passed away on Monday mid-night at around 1:10 pm. He was 37-year old.
According to his family, after he took his dinner on Monday night suddenly he started vomiting and felt unconscious. He was immediately taken to the GB hospital.
The doctors in the hospital declared him brought dead, said the members of his family.
Debnath survived with his wife, baby girl, parents and sister. Earlier, he was working as a photo journalist with NE India, Syandan Patrika, Ajker Fariad and UNI. Currently, he was associated as a photo journalist of Ajkal Tripura.
His photography had also got place in various photo exhibitions. His photos have appeared in various publication of the state.
Rakesh Debnath was a popular photographer and was very jolly person and also had a very good standing in the media houses here in Tripura.
