AGARTALA, July 11 (TIWN): A seven members’ delegation team of North East Frontier Railway (NFR) on Friday met Tripura Governor Tathagata Roy at Agartala Raj Bhawan. The team under the leadership of NFR Chief Administrative Officer A. S. Garodh had arrived here on Friday morning to courtesy meet with Governor.
The team comprising of NFR Chief Engineer Harpal Singh, Deputy Chief Engineer B. N. Bhaskar, S. S. Kungrimai and others congratulated Governor Tathagata Roy by offering a flower bouquet.
Earlier this year on the month of June last a 10 members’ delegation team from the Union Ministry of Railways arrived here at the state on Saturday with an aim to undertake a joint land survey for India-Bangladesh railways extension project in wake of the construction work to kick start soon and is expected to be commissioned by 2017.
The team comprised of Chief Engineer of Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) Harpal Singh, IRCON and Container Corporation of India Ltd (CCIL) officials.
