KAMALPUR, July 8 (TIWN): Almost a year ago TIWN demanded with facts that huge irregularity and embezzlement prevailed in the TSECL Kamalpur Division. Although the authority then reluctantly denied all those as mere allegations, now the same officials became bound to adopt steps against the irregularities.

The TSECL Senior Manager of kamalpur Sub-division Swapan Shilsharma fined a line man of Durgachowmuhani sub-division of TSECL under Kamalpur division for using hook line and that too in the quarter. Pabitra was fined an amount of 8, 000 rupees. This sensational incident occurred here at Kamalpur today. Earlier yesterday, the TSECL connection of Pabitra was cut off due huge arrear of consumption bills.

It is noteworthy that, almost a year ago TIWN demanded that Pabitra had a huge outstanding amount of 25, 000 rupees with the TSECL. But then the authority tried their best to save the employee and ultimately the truth revealed.
