KAMALPUR, June 24 (TIWN): BSM Hospital or Bimal Singha Memorial Hospital named after the former and deceased health Minister of the State Bimal Singha turned into a den of utter mismanagement and irregularities.

Adding to this queue, the NRHM section became busy in gobbling money and the man powers attached to it became busy in pocketing money by even creating nexus with the chemists.

The saga of irregularities and mismanagement at BSM Hospital, Kamalpur is nothing new. The sufferings and wailings of the patients had long ago been failed to knock at the dumb ear of the authority. What became serious at present, the NRHM section got mingled into this trend?

The RSBY scheme here turned into a scheme of draining money for some chemists. The chemists often charge different price for the same medicine of the same batch. And the dealing clerks of NRHM happily passed the bills of the chemists. They did so as they got engaged in nexus with such chemists.

 Moreover, the expenses for training and camps usually got embezzled by the NRHM authority here. The embezzlement used to trick by curtailing the time schedule and meals of the training as provided in the guidelines. What is dangerous is that neither the hospital authority nor the NRHM District authority is found eager to remedy those loopholes. It is very much possible according to the commoners that, the officials from top to bottom, are happily engaged in this saga of embezzlement.
