AGARTALA, June 24 (TIWN): A body of a 32-year-old has been found in a pond near to Maharajganj Market on Wednesday morning.

The police identified the decease, Arabindo Bhattacharjee (32). He was a resident of Akhaura Road area.

 After getting the information the police personnel from East Agartala police station rushed to the spot and began the investigation.

 The police recovered the body and sent it to the G.B Hospital where doctors declared him dead. The body will be kept in the hospital for further investigation. After the horrifying incident, tension gripped among the locals of the area.

 The reason behind the death is no yet identified. Police personnel’s are suspecting it to be a murder case. Further, investigation is going on.
