KAMALPUR, June 22 (TIWN): Being fed up with the chronic diseases which drained almost all his resources, a patient named Muskan Ali (40) of Ganganagar area under Kamalpur tried to commit suicide in the hospital bed. The patient tried to cut open his throat with blade by covering himself with the eiderdown. The incident took place around 11 am today.
However, the family members and relatives noticed the matter in time and rescued Muskan. He was sent to GBP Hospital in critical condition.
According to the family members and relatives, Muskan continued to suffer from heart diseases and asthma for last seven to eight years at a stretch. He expensed almost 4, 00, 000 to 5,00, 000 rupees for treatment. In this process he sold all his paternal wealth. But it bore no result.
On 19 June last, he once again got admitted with asthma at BSM Hospital Kamalpur. He resolved his disease incurable and to save his family from further expenses, tried to commit suicide. This incident triggered sensation among the commoners.
