KAMALPUR, June 20 (TIWN): In the ongoing bye-election wave in the State, the lone independent candidate contesting in the 46 Surma Constituency, Sushil Malakar expressed his hope for grabbing victory. He spoke in the Press Meet at Kamalpur Press Club, here today.
Sushil Malakar, the familiar face in the political arena of the sub-division holding the flag of political party Bangla and Bangali Samaj is contesting in the bye-election as independent candidate. He has given ‘auto-rickshaw’ as his election symbol.
He expressed that, although the Surma constituency has been dominated by the CPIM party right from 1978, but true development and the basic aminities of life are still to be provided to the larger portion of society.
Blaming both the Congress and BJP as ‘vote-birds’, he expressed his hope for grabbing win the ensuing election as he remain in touch of people throughout the year.
However, the political analysts are of the view that, his candidature would surely help the CPIM candidate.
