AGARTALA, June 17 (TIWN): All India Bharatiya Janata party (BJP) Yuva Morcha President Anurag Thakur to arrive here in Agartala on July 4 for the first time to address the youths of the state and voice against the employment cut under the Left regime here in the state.
Talking to the reporters here at the BJP headquarter BJP Yuva Morcha state committee President Kamal Dey said that following the request of the youths of the state the BJP Pradesh committee managed to invite Thakur here in Tripura.
He said that as part of the ‘Yuba Jagaran’ programme the BJP would stage the main programme at Agartala Rabindra Bhawan where Thakur would address the youths of the state on July 4.
Informing the programme schedule on Wednesday Dey said at present the youths of the Left ruled state are deprived from employment at large. As a result the youths of the present generation are diverted towards anti-social activities likes inhaling drugs and others.
The youths are helpless and the ruling CPI-M and its Left front government has been playing a negligence role towards providing employment to them, said Dey on Wednesday during the press conference.
