KAILASHAHAR, June 16 (TIWN): The wrenched condition of Bhogobannagar - Kalaigiri road of Kailashar hampered the transportation facility of the area.

Due to the miserable condition of the road ADC Executive Member Sadharani Chakma delayed by one and half hour to reach in a programme organized at Tetlang which falls in between Bhogobannagar - Kalaigiri road on Monday.

Reportedly, after making several promises during the last Lok Sabha election till today no initiative has been taken to repair the condition of the road. The common people are mostly suffering from the pathetic condition of the road.

During rainy season, the water gets store in to the mud holes creating problem for any kind of vehicles to move and also it is dangerous for the vehicles to ply, said the locals of the area.

According to the report, earlier the locals of the area demonstrated for several times with a demand to construct a road in the area but till today no such initiatives have been taken.

It is alleged that after all the happenings no Initiatives was undertaken by the concerned department for renovation, meanwhile widespread resentments are brewing among the people.
