AMARPUR, June 14 (TIWN): At a time when most of the public of the state are getting connected with the Post Office services after they received betrayal from Non Banking Companies, the branch post office at Amarsagar is running under deplorable condition.

For prolonged days the post office is running under miserable condition with various technical difficulties along with delay in customer services.

The post office offers number of facilities including money order, recurring deposit, registering post, savings facility, parcel facility and many others but the deplorable condition of the post office left the consumers to distress over the situation, said one of the consumer.

Reportedly, the deplorable condition of the post office started from May 23 and continued till day. The prolonged awful condition of the post office brewed resentment among the consumers of the area.

The agitated consumers said that every time they ask about any service to the concern officials of the post office they come up with various kind of excuse like no server, computers are out of service and many more due to which the consumers cannot access to the post office services.

Expressing grief to the situation Post Master Shibabrata Acharjee said that he has informed about the situation to the concern authority but no positive step has been taken yet.
