BELONIA, May 26 (TIWN): Even after the passage of at least 24 hours Belonia police failed to arrest the culprits involved to the murder of one Ayjyo Tripura resident of Belonia Sonaibari ADC village. Tripura breathed his last on May 24 night after receiving serious injury from a group of miscreants at his village.

The incident occurred on May 17, 2015 after Ayjyo Tripura was severely beaten up by another Giricharan Tripura of the same village along with some other miscreants due to some unknown reasons and left him seriously injured.

Later getting an alarm police rushed to the spot and admitted him to Belonia local hospital on the very night in critical condition. Police also registered a case against the culprits.

But the case took a turn after victim Ayjyo Tripura breathed his last on May 24 at the hospital. However but police has failed to arrest the culprits yet today even after the passage of 24 hours.

Incident has triggered resentment among the locals of Sonaibari ADC village.
