KHOWAI, May 21 (TIWN): Two persons were injured in a massive road mishap at the heart of Khowai District on Thursday at around 11 am.

The incident took place, when an auto hits and injured a bike rider (Salil Dey) along with the pillion rider (Alpana Dey) while coming out from TRTC stand. Meanwhile, from another side an alto car bearing registration number TR01-U-0407 came in full-force and hits the injured again. The injured was immediately taken to the District Hospital and later on, shifted to the G.B Hospital for further treatment, sources informed. Khowai police has registered a case in this regard, further added by the sources.

According to the sources report, the auto driver managed to skip away but the alto driver could not mange to run away as the people present over there managed to catch him.  

However, the police came on the spot and investigated about the incident and seized the alto and auto from the spot.
