AGARTALA, May 18 (TIWN): In a bizarre incident, a mud wall of a house collapsed over a 55years old lady at Kakrachora ADC area Nandakumar Para under Mungiagami block on Monday. The victim is identified as Pusputi Reang wife of Nandalal Reang. Reportedly, after the mild rain on Monday morning while the victim was doing her household chores, all of a sudden the mud wall of her house collapsed over her. The lady was dumped under the mud wall for several minutes and was calling out for help. Getting alarm the family members of the victims rushed to the spot and took her to the Teliamura Gramin hospital.

However, after preliminary medication the doctors of Teliamura Gramin hospital referred her to the State referral hospital AGMC. At the mean time, the family members of the victim went upto the door of SDM Bimbishar Bhattacharjee seeking monetary help for continuing the treatment of the victim at AGMC hospital.

SDM Bimbishar Bhattacharjee, realizing the depth of the issue handed over an amount of Rs 5000 to the family member of the victim and made all the necessary arrangements to send the victim to the AGMC hospital. After receiving help from SDM Bimbishar Bhattacharjee, the family members along with the victim rushed to the AGMC hospital. The doctors immediately attended her and started the required medication for improving the health of Puspati Reang.

However, the doctors informed that the victim is now at a critical condition and is undergoing treatment.
