
Agartala, Sep3, (TIWN) Newly built Rabindra Bhavan will be inaugurated on the first day of next January. NBCC has already been directed to hand over the new building to the Information and Cultural department of the state within December 15 next.
The decision was taken in the Cabinet meeting which was held today in the Secretariat. It may be mentioned here that during the celebration of birth centenary of Rabindranath Tagore, the decision was taken to give the new shape after demolishing the earlier building.
Newly constructed building would be centrally air conditioned including two well equipped auditorium halls. A decision was also taken to make the provision for a giant screen in both the auditoriums where movie can be screened, if necessary.
