AGARTALA, March 29 (TIWN): A 5-day long North East Painting Workshop kicked off from today at Agartala Rabindra Bhawan, with Information & Cultural Affairs Secretary Santanu Das inaugurating the programme. However, at least 10 artists from Tripura and another 10 artists from all across the North Eastern region has participated today at the painting workshop.

  The painting workshop was organized by the Information & Cultural Affairs (ICA) Department, Govt. of Tripura with in collaboration with the North East Zone Cultural Centre, Dimapur (Govt. of India).

The workshop with 20 artists from the state Tripura and all across the North eastern region will continue till April 2. Eminent Artist Chinmoy Roy remained present during the inauguration programme today as a guest of Honour.
