AGARTALA, March 29 (TIWN): The department of Health and Hepatitis Foundation to organize a state level programme at Udaipur under South District on April 7, to observe World Health Day. State Health Minister Badal Chowdhuri is scheduled to inaugurate the programme. The main programme would be held at Udaipur Rajarshi Auditorium hall.
A rally on health awareness would also be staged on the very day as part of the programme of the World Health Day. However, Minister for Water Resource Ratan Bhowmik, Zilla Sabhadipati Himanshu Roy, Health Secretary M. Nagaraju, Health Director Dr. Tapan Das and other officials would also remain present during the programme on April 7.
Besides, a renowned Heart specialist from Kolkata Dr. Anjan Lal Datta would give suggestions to a few patients suffering from heart disease. ‘Swasthya Suraksha’ would be the slogan this year for World Health Day.
