AGARTALA, March 26 (TIWN): Tripura Farm Sramik Union holds sit-in-demonstration on Thursday raising various demands including the regularization of the employees in Animal Resource and Welfare Department. MP Sankar Prasad Dutta had delivered speech in the demonstration.
Delivering the speech, the leaders of the Union stated that in all the departments, employees are regularized day by day. In the meantime, in agriculture department, nearly 2 thousand employees were regularized. But in the Animal Welfare and Resource Department, no worker had been regularized yet.
The demands of the Union are:
1. To regularize the employees of the Animal Resource and Welfare Department.
2. In most of the farms, due to lack of workers, disruption in work was witnessed. Therefore in order to avoid this, new workers must be appointed.
3.To work for the basic infrastructure development of the farms.
