AMBASSA, March 24 (TIWN): As the third phase of the movement, the students of Uttar Lalchari H. S. School of Ambassa, the students kept all the teachers under lock and key on Monday. The continuous protest movement was initiated against the recent transfer of three teachers from this school.

Recently, the School Education Department transferred three teachers namely Bimal Deb, Manoranjan Sarkar and Mrinal Debbarma from the school.

They were appointed to the school in 1996 and 1997 respectively. Earlier the students boycotted the class and blocked the National Highway in protest of this transfer. But it resulted nothing. Hence, the teachers were kept under lock and key on Monday.
