AGARTALA, March 20 (TIWN): People of the state are facing problem while buying goods from the shop due to lack of coins at different areas including the capital city Agartala.
According to sources, the consumers are paying extra charge while buying things to the sellers due to lack of coins.
On being asked about the issue, a section of buyers alleged that the sellers are unwilling to cooperate with them regarding the issue despite they have enough stock of coins to meet the crisis.
“The shopkeepers never gives changes to us despite they have stock of coins. As we cannot give change, they keep extra money in exchange of goods,” a furious consumer said. The locals demanded that the issue should be raised to the administration level to get rid of the prevailing crisis.
Not only that the auto drivers of the city are also doing the same thing with the passengers, said another passenger namely Tutan Roy.
