AGARTALA, March 14 (TIWN): Protesting against the recent attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) youth leaders at Belonia and Sabroom, the party on Friday staged a protest rally across the capital city Agartala demanding immediate arrest of the attackers. “Our BJP youth leaders are being victimized of CPI (M) cadres attack since the panchayat election, therefore we have to decided to agitate today in all the districts seeking arrest of the attackers,” BJP State President Sudhindra Das Gupta said to TIWN on Friday evening.

It is worthy to be mentioned here that at least 10 leaders including Narayan Chandra Dey, Konjoy Mog, Bishwajit Debnath, Sentu Mog, Pankaj Dutta, Mathan Mog and another Ranjit Chowdhury sustained serious injury after a section of SFI workers made an attack on them at Sabroom on March 11.

While, on March 10 another section of BJP workers were attacked by the CPI (M) cadres at Belonia in-front of the college. The BJP workers were on a move for their membership drive.

However today protesting the incidents that occurred on the duo date, the BJP workers along the leaders staged a protest rally across the city. The BJP leaders said that id their demand to arrest the attackers are not fulfilled soon then they will move for a big protest movement.
