AGARTALA, March 12 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar inaugurated Samagam Festival at Nazrul Kalaskhetra on Thrusday. Sangeet Natak Akademi, New Delhi organized Natya Samagama – festival of contemporary theatre practices, traditions and diverse cultural expressions of India.

The festival is being organized in collaboration with department of Information and Cultural Affairs, Government of Tripura in Agartala from 12 to 20 March at Nazrul Kalakshetra.

 Shekhar Sen Chairman, Sangeet Natak Akademi and other dignatories attended the festival.

Around 600 artists from all over the country participated in the festival.
