AGARTALA, March 3 (TIWN): Wiped off from political map of whole country, decimated to the lowest level with bare existence in tiny state of Tripura, Communist Party CPI (M) state unit on Monday slammed the General Budget 2015-16 presented by BJP led NDA government as anti people as that would lead to putting extra financial burden on the common man who is already suffering from high inflation. Surprisingly enough, only handful people mostly consists of thieves and families of scamsters like Bimal Chakraborty's brother DYFI Secretary Amal Chakraborty were found shouting slogans against Modi Govt, which after all ended as a laughing stock on Agartala streets. Addressing in a rally in front of Rabindra Bhavan organized by CPI (M) on Monday demanding immediate cancellation of General Budget 2015-16 general secretary Bijon Dhar said it would lead to further price rise hitting the common man. “The budget will lead to further rise in prices that will hit the common man,” as the “failed economic formula of UPA II has been presented in a new frame.” CPI(M) rally exposed hollowness in principles, ethics and policies of left as most of the tainted characters donned the garb of fake "honesty" while criticizing Central Govt.

Sooner CPI(M) realizes why whole India rejected them, why in Delhi election it got only 5413 total votes, why Marxism is rejected by masses, its better for the survival.

 "We had hoped that the budget will lessen impact of price rise on people. But it is anti-farmer. The hike in prices of petrol and diesel will further lead to increase in prices," Dhar added.

“The General Budget presented by a lame duck government at the Center is useless and disappointing. There is nothing substantial in the financial proposals to boost the economy or to benefit the people,” Dhar said.

The Center also appeared to lack vision to address economic issues, particularly in the agriculture sector and to mitigate regional imbalance, he said and criticised it for increasing indirect taxes to compensate for the loss arising out of minor decrease in direct tax. This is a anti-farmer, anti-poor, anti-people budget, he added.

The BJP has always been for businessman and bureaucrats; it has never worked for the common people, Dhar said.
