KAMALPUR, March 2 (TIWN): The fair price shop of Kalachari No. 1 PACS termed into a den of public sufferings and extreme embezzlement. And the saga remained uninterrupted for years together. But the Food and Civil Supply’s authority remained their fingers in the butter mysteriously.

 The Kalachari No. 1 PACS has their fair price shop at Fulchari market at Kamalpur. The fair price shop has almost 300 consumers. During last one or two years, the consumers never got their commodities properly. And during last six months or so the situation worsened much as the ration dealer Raju Tangla failed to provide the customers with the commodities. Allegedly, he sold the fair price commodities in the open market just after receiving the items. Even this morning people gheraod Raju demanding commodities and at a time he fled away. Still the authority did not even feel the need to visit the fair price shop and adopt any measure
