KAMALPUR, MARCH 2, (TIWN): An unprecedented chaos and mismanagement prevailed in the BSM (Bimal Singh Memorial) Hospital here at Kamalpur. The situation been already worsened by the grip of unhygienic atmosphere, grip of brokers and the stealing of patients’ meals. Adding to it, a new saga of CFL bulb stealing started getting pace in last two or three months. But the authority mysteriously seemed reluctant to probe into the matter.
During last three or four months, a renovation work being continued at the hospital premise. As a part of this electrical equipments and bulbs are also being changed according to need. And in this process of changing and fitting of new CFL bulbs, a gang continued to pocket huge money. According to the information of the staffs of the hospital, almost every week during last three or four months, new CFL bulbs got fitted in different parts of the hospital. Mysteriously, those newly fitted bulbs got disappeared within a day or two. And the authority happily purchased new bulbs without probing into the matter. The saga continued uninterrupted. And some are pocketing huge public money by embezzlement. But who would bell the cat, is the question of the time.
