AGARTALA, February 27 (TIWN): At least three persons sustained serious injuries in a clash between two groups over a plot of land at South Ramnagar under Ramnagar Out Post, here today. The miscreants fled after the assault while the victims have been admitted at Hospital.
According to police, Suman Choudhury, Raju Das and Miton Debnath sustained serious injuries when two groups attacked each other with sticks and sharp-edged weapons over a land dispute at South Ramnagar area.
After getting the information police personnel from Ramnagar Out Post rushed to spot and immediately shifted the injured persons to hospital, where their condition was stated to be stable, said police.
A case has been registered regarding the incident. And two accused namely Robel Mia and Suman Mia were arrested by the police in this regard. Investigation is on and a hunt is on to arrest the other accused persons, said cops.
