AMC Commissioner released from present assignments

Agartala, February 24 (TIWN): In an order, Commissioner of Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC)- Abhishek Chandra, IAS (MT:2003) was released from his present assignment of the state government due to his appointment as Deputy Secretary in Union Ministry of Shipping on central deputation.
In pursuance of fax message no- 1/1/2015-EO(MM-1) from Department of Personal and Training, New Delhi, dated February 04, 2015, the Governor placed the services of Abhishek Chandra at the disposal for his appointment as Deputy Secretary in Union Ministry of Shipping on central deputation with effect from the date he relinquish the charge.
According to a gazette notification vide- F.14(4)-GA(P&T)/94(L-II) from GA(P&T) Department undersigned by Additional Secretary- RP Datta, the District Magistrate (DM) and Collector, West district- Abhishek Singh will hold the additional charge of AMC Commissioner with effect from the date Abhishek Chandra relinquishes the charge and until further order.
