AGARTALA, February 18 (TIWN): In a daring act of robbery in broad day light two motorcycle-borne miscreants snatched a bag from a man at Motor stand Road area, here today.

According to the police, Pranab Nag resident of Shiv Nagar area was just entering the U.B.I ATM at Motor stand when the two motorcycle-borne miscreants snatched the bag. The bag contains cash, two bank pass books and valuables, police said.

According to the eyewitness the two miscreants came in a motor bike and snatched the bag and fled away. The locals tried to stop the two miscreants but they managed to escape from the spot.

A specific case has been registered in this regard at East Agartala Police Station. Victim Pranab Nag gave details of duo's physical appearance to the cops. Investigation is underway," a police officer said.

It is to be mentioned here that these types of snatching cases are rising in the city day by day.
