KAMALPUR, FEB. 12, (TIWN): The boycott of the SDM’s court by the Kamalpur Bar Association continued in its 10th day. The District Administration and the higher up authority remain reluctant to minimize the deadlock. In this tug-of-war the commoners remained the worst sufferers.
On 2nd February last, two advocates of Kamalpur Bar allegedly got insulted in the Court of SDM, when they went there to advocate for their parties. After the incident, the advocates of the Bar Association resolved to boycott the Court until the issue got mitigated. The Bar Association also intimated the issue to the DM and the Chief Secretary in written seeking the remedy of the issue. But, still the ‘golden’ and ‘dynamic’ administration of the State failed to resolve the issue. More importantly, the common people remained the worst sufferers of the incident.
Now, when and how the issue would be mitigated remains the burning question of the time.
