AGARTALA, Sep 8 (TIWN): World Physiotherapy Day has been observed with the initiative of TIPS, Indian Association of Physiotherapists (IAP), Tripura Branch.

Rally was organized to mark the occasion, participated by students, teachers from across colleges.

The organizations or institutions that participate actively are — Tripura Institute of Paramedical Sciences (TIPS), Indian Association of Physiotherapists (IAP), Tripura Branch.

This year the focus lies on to prevent stroke, Cardiac related health issues and to inform people about physical activities on health. 

The rally started with the initiative of TIPS and Indian Association of Physiotherapists (IAP), alongside the Tripura Branch from the Rabindra Bhawan, main gate area.

Biswaswar Nandi, Dronachariya award winner was also present on the occasion to mark the occasion.
