AGARTALA, Feb 23 (TIWN): The Border Security Force (BSF) on Monday apprehended Apollo Chakma, accused of being an active member of Bangladesh armed cadre Parbatya Chattagram Jana Samhati Samiti (PCJSS).

The suspected PCJSS member was apprehended near the Indo-Bangladesh border in Tripura’s Dhalai district.

Apollo Chakma, S/O- Bijay Chakma is a resident of Panchari in Khagrachari district.

He was allegedly crossing the Indo-Bangladesh border through Gate No. 2 of the Amrit Para BSF camp under Dhalai district. 

The BSF also recovered a walkie-talkie set from his possession.

He was handed over to the Rashyabari Police Station.
