After 8 years of no recruitment only 100 posts filling up in MPW might not help much in unemployment reduction among job aspirants
In 2024, MPW passed out candidates demanded at least 500 recruitments should be conducted by the state government to mitigate the job crisis. Because, according to job seekers, recruitment for 6 years was held and now it’s been 8 years that the state is facing the job crisis among the health sector.
Over 5000 nursing job aspirants were detected unemployed in 2022 and now the number has risen further.
However, ending long pending demands, finally Tripura cabinet decided to hire employees under multipurpose factors under MPW. Minister Sushanta Chowdhury announced this following a cabinet meeting — that 100 MPW staff to be recruited.
However, the question remains, how long it will take to finish the entire recruitment process and if 100 posts are enough to end the unemployment problems among medical line job aspirants or not.
