AGARTALA, Jan 26 (TIWN): House of Jayanta Roy in Madhya Bhubanban was seen fully vandalized when reporters went there. His bike was burnt, boundary walls remained in totally damaged condition — the violent attack was visible.

The family lodged an FIR against Sanjib Deb (Kalu) who allegedly attacked the house with his team but instead of taking action against him, police arrested Jayanta Roy, the house owner.

Today Jayanta Roy’s wife Paramtia Roy came to West Agartala Police Station asking why no action was taken against Kalu yet.

In this attack, many family members of Jayanta Roy were injured.

Mrs. Roy requested chief minister Manik Saha to look into the matter and take appropriate steps to give the family “justice.”
