AGARTALA, Jan 26 (TIWN): To save the life of their four-month-old baby, parents appealed to Prime Minister Modi and Tripura CM Manik Saha — following a critical disease that is taking the life of the newly born boy.
The report came from Kamalasgar constituency, Shekerkote Chankhala area.
Ramkrishna Sinha’s four months old boy is suffering from a tumor but recently along with the tumor he developed puffed areas in other parts of the body. His head also became bigger in size.
Initially he was taken to GB hospital where Doctors prepared for an operation. But later doctors asked to wait for a few months – to let the baby become a little stable in age and prescribed few medicines till then. But soon, his condition deteriorated and they rushed to TMC hospital but TMC doctors told them that his treatment could not be done there.
Then they again went to GB hospital where Doctors advised them to go out of Tripura —- which according to doctors will cost around Rs.10 to Rs. 12 lakhs.
In this situation, the couple have chosen the last option — seeking government help.
