AGARTALA, Jan 13 (TIWN): TTAADC appointed Tripura cricket icon Manishankar Murashing, as promised by, Tipra Motha supremo Pradyot Debbarman. The move came after IPL neglected the talented player, who was awarded as Ranji Trophy Best All Rounder. In the appointment letter, issued by ADC CEO on Tuesday, says, “In the interest of the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council, Sri Manishankar Murashing, eminent cricketer, is hereby appointed as the Brand Ambassador of the TTAADC, Khumulwang, for the advancement of youth development and the promotion of sporting excellence in the TTMDC area.

Manisankar Murasingh (born 1 January 1993) has been the leading wicket-taker for Tripura in the 2018–19 Ranji Trophy, with 32 dismissals in eight matches. He was honored with the Lala Amarnath Award- Best All Rounder Ranji Trophy 2019-2020.

The Terms and Conditions of the Appointment as written in the notification says:

1. Appointment: The pleased Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District council (TTAADC), Khumulwng is to appoint Sri Manishankar Murashing,. eminent cricketer, as Brand Ambassador of the TTMDC do we dispose of promoting youth development and sporting excellence in the TTMDi areas. 

2. Nature of Appointment: This appointment is purely temporary and may be terminated by either party by giving one (1) month written notice to the other party. 

3. Tenure:  The period of appointment shall be for a term of three (3) years effective from the date of joining the Autonomous District council, unless terminated earlier in accordance with these terms. 

4. Remuneration: Sri Manishankar Murashing will be provided with a fixed consolidated remuneration of Rs. 10,00,000/- (Rupees Ten Lakh) money per annum. 

5. Travel Allowance / Daily Allowance: lf he is required to perform duties in furtherance of the interests of youth development and promotion of sporting excellence, he shall be paid TA/DA as per rules applicable to Group-B category officers of the TTAADC.

General Conditions: 

The appointee shall carry out such duties and responsibilities as may be assigned to him from time to time by the TTAADC. 

This appointment shall be subject to the terms and conditions laid down by the TTAADC and applicable rules in force. 

All notices required to be given under these terms shall be in writing and delivered to the address of the respective parties.
