AGARTALA, Jan 4 (TIWN): The US military launched an operation in Venezuela and afterwards arrested Venezuela President Nicolás Maduro and his wife Cilia Flores. Both were brought to the USA with four changes including "narcotic terrorism" against which USA was fighting for a long time following last few months's numbers of drug carrying vessels from Venezuela were destroyed. A day after the operation, Tripura CPI-M party led by former CM Manik Sarkar launched a protest in the capital city Agartala, condemning the incident.

 The party members were holding a banner "All the peace-demanding people. Please come Forward and join the protest against USA's agressive attack in Venezuela."
