AGARTALA, Dec 9 (TIWN): Amid the ongoing feud between ruling BJP and Tipra Motha party, 21 top leaders from various districts joined Tipra Motha party. The former BJP leaders have alleged insults, and lack of vision for the tribal community in the BJP government have led them to join Tipra Motha party – which is the only hope for the indigenous people of Tripura.
Tipra Motha shares cabinet seats with the BJP government but in ADC Tipra Motha is the ruling party, since they won the election in 2021.
