AGARTALA, Nov 20 (TIWN): In a deadly accident at least three people died after a pick-up van was hit by a running train on Thursday. The incident happened in Longtarai Valley subdivision’s Manu S K Para claiming three lives on-spot.

According to reports, the train was going to Shilchar from Agartala and the vehicle was hit by the train near the local railway station.

The vehicle was working for ONGC’s contract work carrying three persons. 

Out of the deceased persons, one was the driver.

The dead bodies were taken to Manu hospital and processed for post mortem.

Manu GRP police started an investigation in the crash incident.
