AGARTALA, Nov 11 (TIWN): Minor girl who went missing from Sabroom subdivision of South Tripura was rescued by police from Nepal. It took almost three weeks to rescue the minor girl as she was taken out of the border. Since 19th October, a minor girl was going missing and her parents lodged a missing complaint at Sabroom police station. By using sources, police unearthed the girl’s location and ultimately she was rescued from Tulsipur village’s Dong Dist of Nepal.
She was rescued from the kidnapper’s stepmother.
The kidnapper Krishna Thakur (35) is a resident of Kokrajhar district. By tracking the phone location, police arrested him.
SDPO Nityananda Sarkar praised Maria Krishna, SP Vishal Kumar, OC Apu Das for their successful operation.
