AGARTALA, Nov 6 (TIWN): Tripura Congress protested across the state raising seven demands related to the state’s issue. The demands include strict action against drug peddlers, filling up of all vacant posts, stopping all shorts of privatization in government schools, controlling the law and order situation and crime control, 125th constitutional amendment bill that has needs to be passed in the parliament, stopping all harassment to the auto and tomtom divers and to reduce the commodity price hikes.
Beside criticising the BJP government, Congress party state president Asish Saha also criticized the regional parties who are aligned with BJP stating these parties only show off protests but in reality they do not work for the ADC’s overall development.
Congress MLA Sudip Barman also took a dig at the BJP government over various issues. Starting from accusing the state of having a “commission” based system where the BJP leadership is involved, Barman slammed the government over low pay to the guest lecturers.
