AGARTALA, Nov 4 (TIWN): Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu visited the Kailashahar border area on Tuesday, where he interacted with locals and gathered information from border security personnel. During his visit, he inspected various developmental projects and met with villagers to understand their concerns and issues.
The Governor emphasized the importance of ensuring that the benefits of government schemes reach the intended beneficiaries. He directed officials to ensure that people in the border areas receive all the benefits they are entitled to, including toilets, homes under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, gas connections under the Ujjwala Yojana, health insurance, and agricultural subsidies. The Governor's visit aimed to review the overall development and security situation in the border area.
