AGARTALA, Oct 24 (TIWN): In a significant development, 2,130 families comprising 6,460 voters from various parties joined the BJP in Mungiakami, Tripura.
The joining ceremony was held at the Mungiakami Bazar ground in the presence of Chief Minister Professor Dr. Manik Saha, BJP State President Rajib Bhattacharjee, and other senior party leaders.
The BJP claimed that despite attempts to disrupt the event, the massive gathering showcased the party's growing strength in the region.
The newly joined members expressed their faith in the BJP's development agenda and Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership.
The Chief Minister assured the new members that the state government would work tirelessly to ensure overall development, especially in the tribal areas.
